Pinellas Computers isn’t made up of employees – It’s a team of the county’s most experienced and knowledgeable computer repair professionals. Unlike other computer service companies, Pinellas Computers is a has multiple locations with teams of technicians that work together to provide exceptional service to all of Pinellas County. Here’s a bit more info about our team members and some of their favorites:
Owner / CTO / Dragon Slayer
Ryan (28) is an entrepreneur. He’s a problem solver, Corvette enthusiast, and mountain-dew-aholic. Half self-taught, half-schooled, all geek; Ryan transformed Pinellas Computers from a part time hobby, to a garage workshop, into a multi-location retail repair chain. With his constant urge to take things to the next level, Ryan has extensive knowledge in all areas of computer hardware, software & networking, as well as marketing/advertising, public communication, and business management. Ryan’s nicknames are “Bossman”, “Malize”, and “R-Monae”. Sometimes he fights dragons, and Windows 7 was his idea.

VP of Operations / Screw Tightener
Mike (26) has loved technology and computer gaming since his childhood. As the main tech enthusiast of his friends/family, he is constantly adding to to his arsenal of solutions. He attended PTEC for Computer Systems Technology and is certified as CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+. He loves troubleshooting and finding answers to new and unique problems. In his spare time, he enjoys competitive online games and spending time with his wife and son. He was also a stunt double for Nicolas Cage on ConAir.

VP of Personnel / Padawan Trainer
Bob (29) is a problem solver who is always thinking outside of the box. From tinkering with computers since the age of 7, building his first 286 custom PC, to being a beta tester for Windows XP. Whether it’s taking apart computers, televisions, or other electronics; Bob has a knack for hands-on projects and business. An early adopter of Windows 7, Bob is always anxious to get the next generation. He also makes a mean Cuban sandwich.

VP of Information / Firewall Bandit
David (30) has loved PCs and games since he was a child. From Nintendo to Packard Bell, he began getting into computers when he set out to build his first PC just to see how it worked. David is CompTIA A+ certified as also holds an MCSA certificate. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games and the violin. He was once a member of the X-Men.

Repair Technician / Transistor God
Evan (27) began working with computers in high school where he dual enrolled in trade school to study networking and server management. His coursework has included A+, N+, MCSE, MCSA and more. He’s even certified in Office 2000, which comes in handy almost never. In his free time he enjoys attending concerts, being outdoors and occasionally playing the drums. His was previously a standby actor for voice of the Genie on Aladdin.

Repair Technician / Circuit Czar
Josh (33) enjoys challenging problems. With a background in electronic and avionic troubleshooting, he takes pride in deconstructing anything mechanical and repairing it to full working order. When he’s not trying to fix computer problems, he’s likely busy reading non-fiction or playing a PC game. He also owns a real transformer.

Repair Technician / CPU Whisperer
Dennis (27) has a wide range of IT knowledge acquired over his lifetime of working with computers. Ranging from the basic training to hardware/software troubleshooting, Dennis has mastered some of the most complex skill sets in the field. Always eager to learn something new, Dennis is constantly challenging himself to new projects in an effort to gain even more knowledge. In his off time, he enjoys reading one of his many leather-bound books, in his apartment filled with the scent of rich mahogany. He can also communicate with crickets.

Repair Technician / Password Sorcerer
Owen (32) likes to think outside the box; working on projects such as a mineral oil submerged cooling system for his Xbox gaming console. He has been across the world, from Ireland to South Africa; before calling Pinellas County his new home. Owen loves gadgets and performing hardware and software mods to get technology working better than ever. He is also fluent in Klingon.

CSSR Technician / Keyboard Toucher
Doug (21) is a “back to the drawing board” type of troubleshooter, who is always eager to learn and discover more about the world of computers and networking. Coming out of schooling from across the country, he’s been involved with various service committees and clubs of all facets. Doug loves learning about the newest technology and server administration. In his free time, you can find him honing his abilities in the competitive gaming world. He is secretly afraid of pistachios.

Stuart (43) is a tech who hasn’t written a bio yet. As such, we’re temporarily just making up things about him. For instance – before legally having it changed, his name used to be Leopold Julian VanPelt IV. He has the amazing ability to run at a perfectly human speed, and is known to take a nap from time to time. He also can’t smell roses.

Business Consultant / Appointment Rescheduler
Daniel (39) is an enterprise solutions expert and client/server specialist. With extensive experience in all flavors of Windows Server, VPN, RDP and VoIP; Daniel has the encyclopedic knowledge to eliminate problems before they occur. After managing his own small business IT firm in GA, Daniel relocated to FL and created a new team of work associates. After working in co-op with local computer stores, Daniel teamed up with Pinellas Computers to provide enterprise support for small businesses. He also is an insomniac.

Darth Vader (46) was once a heroic Jedi Knight, who became seduced by the dark side of the Force. Later he became a Sith Lord, and led the Empire’s eradication of the Jedi Order. He remained in service of the Emperor, the evil Darth Sidious, enforcing his Master’s will and seeking to crush the fledgling Rebel Alliance. He is not very good with computers… or customers; but his skills with the Force are second to none.
